✦ The Space

Everyone fits.
Nobody gets
the couch.

The Fifth is built for groups who actually want to spend time together. Four real bedrooms across two floors — so eight people spread out without anyone drawing straws. The open main level flows kitchen to dining to living, with French doors swinging wide to a large private deck where most evenings end up anyway.

Three skylit bedrooms upstairs, plus a fourth on the main level for whoever doesn't want to do stairs. The master suite has a walk-in shower all to itself. The kitchen island is a serious cooking operation. Set up camp here, then use NE Minneapolis as your playground — four James Beard chefs are just down the block.

✦ Your Host

Meet Pete.

Hey, I'm Pete Sieve — a lifelong Minneapolitan and a 12-year resident of the Northeast Arts District, right down the block from you. I'm a touring guitarist who has spent years on the road playing with artists like Lissie, Rogue Valley, and Chris Koza. In between tours I co-founded and published Meal Magazine, a print food and culture publication, and wrote Twin Cities Cocktails — a comprehensive guide to the cocktail scene here. So when I point you toward a restaurant or a bar in this guide, you can trust the recommendation.

I got into short-term rentals because I believe the same things matter whether you're putting on a show, making a magazine, or hosting guests: details matter, hospitality is a craft, and the best experiences are the ones people tell their friends about. I respond quickly, care about getting it right, and I take real pride in this neighborhood.
